Returns & refunds

14-day right of withdrawal, how to return an item to SeaCoast Workshop, and how refunds are handled.

Everything here is handmade, and I want you to be happy with it. If something isn’t right, write to info@seacoast.lt and we’ll sort it out.

Your right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, tell me before the 14 days are up — an email to info@seacoast.lt is enough. Then send the item back within 14 days of telling me.

Once I receive the returned item in its original condition, I refund the full purchase price including standard outbound shipping, within 14 days, to your original payment method.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom or personalised items — anything engraved with your name, a boat name, a date or a logo, or built to your own specification. This is standard under EU consumer law for goods made to a consumer’s specification.

This exception does not apply if the item arrives damaged or defective. In that case you are always entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund, custom or not.

Damaged, defective or lost

  • Damaged in transit or defective — send a photo within a reasonable time of delivery and I’ll arrange a replacement or a full refund, including return postage.
  • Never arrived — I’ll trace the parcel and, if it is lost, refund you in full.

You have a two-year statutory guarantee on goods bought in the EU.

Return postage

For a change of mind, you cover the cost of sending the item back, and you are responsible for any loss in value if it isn’t returned in its original condition.

For a damaged, defective or wrongly-sent item, I cover return postage.

How to return

  1. Email info@seacoast.lt with your order number and what’s wrong.
  2. I’ll confirm the return address.
  3. Pack the item as it arrived and send it back, keeping proof of postage.
  4. I refund within 14 days of receiving it.

If we can’t resolve a dispute, EU consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
