Custom nautical woodwork — engraved keychains, corporate gifts, boat fittings and one-off pieces made to your specification.
Custom and creative woodwork is a large part of what happens at the bench. If you have something in mind, we can always discuss what suits you or your company best.
What I take on
Personalised gifts — names, dates, boat names or logos laser-engraved into oak, teak or mahogany.
Corporate and bulk orders — large runs of keychains and gifts with your logo. Personalised packaging and engraving are available.
Boat fittings — cleats, handles, trim and small deck parts, made to your dimensions.
One-off pieces — lamps, sculptures and furniture. Two past commissions are shown further down this page.
How it works
- Tell me the idea — a sketch, a photo or a rough description is enough.
- We agree the details — timber, dimensions, engraving and finish, with a firm price and timeline.
- I build it — you’ll get progress photos along the way.
Lead time depends on the piece and the season; expect two to four weeks for most commissions.

Sea of keychains
A large corporate run, engraved with the client's own name and packed in branded boxes. Big orders are always welcome — personalised packaging and laser engraving on the wood are both possible, and the per-piece price comes down as the run grows.
Log lamp
A customer in Finland wanted a lamp and a log to become one object. The base keeps its bark and is finished in transparent matt varnish so the wood still looks fresh, with a 3 W LED for warm, low light. Roughly 50 cm tall and 30 cm wide.
